  • Montrice Doula Support marries traditional midwifery care with hospital doula support, for clients who want the ‘midwifery model of care’ but prefer to deliver in a hospital. Licensed midwives do not practice in a hospital setting, however when a midwife is practicing in a doula role, clients receive excellent support and advocacy, as well as the benefit of laboring at home longer and traveling to the hospital to give birth which reduces the risk of unnecessary interventions.
